Spring Farm Day
(2-Adult) Watch sheep shearing and antique farm equipment demonstrations. See cow and goat milking demos and participate in hands-on farm activities. Enjoy crafts, games and get an up-close introduction to the baby farm animals. One wagon ride included with each paid admission.
Cost is $12 per person aged 2 and older before May 3. Walk-ins welcome, $14 at the door on the day of the event.

(2-3 yrs.) Join us to learn about a different element of farm life each week. Children learn about a different part of the farm each session. Other activities can include story time, crafts and introductory level farm chores. One adult must attend with each child. Please limit one parent to attend with each child.

(13-Adult) Learn modern quilt construction basics. Subjects covered include fabric and thread selection, rotary cutting methods and piecing methods. Also included are instructions for finishing a quilt including sandwiching, quilting and binding. This is an ongoing class with students at all stages of their chosen project. Supply list will be emailed to registered participants prior to the first day of class.

(2-Adult) Enjoy an intimate after-hours experience at the farm as day turns to night. Register for a wagon ride time and enjoy the bonfire after your ride. Staff will provide marshmallows for roasting but feel free to bring along any other treat for yourselves.

(7-14 yrs.) Our farmers make taking care of the animals look easy. Here is your chance for a behind the scenes farm tour to see all the hard work that goes into raising our farm animals. Participants tour our feed room, visit our animal areas, meet farm animals and learn the different management practices that we use to keep the animals happy and healthy. One adult must attend with a registered child in this program.

(12-Adult) As we celebrate Juneteenth and the legacy of freedom it represents, join us to explore the history of the free and enslaved African American members of the Frying Pan Baptist Meeting House.
Learn the ways in which Black congregants fought for greater freedoms within the church and how they formed their own community after emancipation.
