The Friends of Frying Pan Farm Park (FFPP) provides programs, facilities and livestock for Frying Pan. FFPP sustains park operations through its ownership of the livestock and its support of volunteers in almost all facets of farm and equestrian programs. The organization's role has evolved from one of operations to one that promotes the park and projects future needs. Membership ensures the Friends’ continued successful support of Frying Pan Farm Park.

The Friends of Frying Pan Farm Park is a 501(C)3, not for profit dedicated to supporting the animals and programming at Frying Pan Farm Park. An earlier form of this group was instrumental in the formation of the park in the 1950s when a grass roots group petitioned the Park Authority to buy 4.5 acres of land. That was the beginning of the 135-acre park.
