Lake Accotink Birthday Party Information

  • Advance reservations are required, and weekend time slots fill up fast.
  • Call 703-569-3464 Monday through Friday to reserve. Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
  • Full payment is due at the time of reservation.
  • Payments are nonrefundable unless:
    • You request a refund at least two weeks before your party date, or
    • Staff determine that weather conditions require canceling the party.
  • Rescheduling may be possible, but it is not guaranteed.

  • Use the entrance at 7500 Accotink Park Road off Highland Street.
  • For indoor birthday party packages, follow the first left to the Visitor Center. Parking is limited.
  • For outdoor packages, including Lucky Duck and Campfire parties, parking near the marina is extremely limited.
  • If the marina lot is full, you may unload passengers and supplies in the traffic circle. The driver must stay with the vehicle. After unloading, park in the trestle parking lot on the left as you enter the park.

Important: Do not park in or block the traffic circle. It is a fire lane. Unattended vehicles may be ticketed or towed.

  •  You may arrive up to 15 minutes before your reservation to set up.
  • Your party must end at the scheduled time. All decorations and belongings must be removed within 15 minutes.
  • Outdoor party areas include six covered tables and a grill.
  • Remove all decorations you bring, including tape, balloons, and streamers. Do not use tacks, staples or nails.
  • You are responsible for removing:
    • Tablecloths and weights
    • Sunscreen and bug spray
    • Plates, cups, napkins, utensils
    • All food and beverages (no alcohol allowed)
    • Charcoal, lighters and grill tools
    • Coolers and ice (ice is not available on-site)

  • For the Lucky Duck Party Package, pick up miniature golf putters and balls at the Ticket Building with the yellow awning.
  • The nine-hole mini golf course takes most groups about 30 minutes to complete.

  • You will receive 20 wristbands for your guests. Pick them up at the Ticket Building on the day of your party.
  • Extra wristbands cost $10 each.
  • Adults supervising children on the miniature golf course do not need a ticket if they are not playing.

  • The closest restroom is on the side of the Ticket Building. It is a single-occupancy, accessible, gender-neutral restroom.
  • More restrooms, including accessible and gender-specific options, are available at the Large Lakeside Shelter on the hill overlooking the lake.

  • Payments are nonrefundable unless:

    • Staff determine weather conditions require canceling your reservation.
  • Rescheduling may be possible based on availability, but it is not guaranteed.
