Trails include a 2.5 mile portion of the Potomac Heritage Trail that links national and regional parkland. Paddlers enjoy exploring islands in the Potomac River. Families and serious anglers bring a boat or fish from shady riverbank. Nature highlights include spectacular river views, beautiful wildflowers and birds. The park features a magnificent display of bluebells in the spring.
