Golfer Guidelines

The SoloRider adaptive golf car provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to access the golf course and participate in the game. It features hand controls and a patented hydraulic swivel seat that rotates 350 degrees and elevates the player to a standing position, facilitating easier play.

  • You may request the use of the SoloRider car 24 hrs in advance after you have made your tee time reservation.
    • If you reserve a tee time online, you will need to call the course to reserve your SoloRider which is on a first come, first served basis.
    • Reservation will be accepted as long as the car is available for a minimum of three (3) hours prior to the next reservation.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes in advance for car orientation

  • Check in at the clubhouse/pro shop counter
  • A staff member will walk you through an orientation on proper use of the car and ask you to perform a test drive to ensure safe operation

  • The course ranger will observe car use throughout their regular monitoring of the course. If you need assistance, please let him/her know.
  • The car is designed to be used on all areas of the golf course from tee to green.  We ask that it not be driven in the deep rough.
  • Staff reserves the right to prohibit use if improper operation or unsafe behavior is observed.

  • Cart Path Only: course management reserves the right to restrict all cart traffic in the rare instances when excessive heat, moisture stress, new turf, or other weather-related or maintenance-related conditions create extreme safety issues or which would result in any cart traffic causing serious damage to the course. Cart Path Only (CPO) affects the access of the SoloRider and blue flagged carts (if applicable. Please see below). If at any time it is apparent these conditions exist, please call the course first.

Golf courses reserve the right to offer and/or limit blue flags.   Please contact each course individually for blue flag accessibility.  Each golf course provides reasonable accommodation with the SoloRider
