Come fish at Burke Lake! Try your luck at fishing for our large population of largemouth bass as well as walleye, muskie, catfish, black crappie, yellow and white perch, sunfish, and bluegill. Rent one of our boats for the day to fish and explore the entirety of the 218-acre lake. Nightcrawlers, chicken liver, clam snout, shrimp, squid, and tackle are available for purchase at the baithouse when the marina is open. People of all ages enjoy the fishing at Burke Lake Park. Patrons 16 and older must have a Virginia fishing license.
Our waterfront parks are now featuring free fishing pole rods for rent at Burke Lake Park, Lake Accotink Park, Lake Fairfax Park and Riverbend Park. Rentals are available during office business hours. Please call the site for rental times and availability.
