Burke Lake Park- A Fairfax Tradition

Burke Lake Park has something for everyone tucked away in its 888 acres. Whether it’s riding on the miniature train or carousel, picnicking, testing your skills on the mini-golf or disc golf courses, indulging in a scoop of ice cream, taking in the sights from the tour boat, fishing, biking, boating, camping, or taking a walk around the 4.7 mile lake trail, Burke Lake is the perfect place to start your next family tradition. With so much to do you won’t want to leave and thanks to our campgrounds you can feel free to spend the whole weekend with us or even the week! When you visit you can also take advantage of the many family-friendly classes, camps, and special events.

Celebrate spring with a full day of family fun, classic amusements and egg hunts. Tickets are limited and some activities require separate admission. Review ticket options below before purchasing.

Available 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Includes access to the main event activities:

  • Meet Sunny the Bunny
  • Carousel and miniature train rides

  • Mini golf

Important details

  • Tickets are required for all ages
  • Children under age 2 ride free with a paying adult
  • Egg hunts are not included
  • Each person must register

Pricing

  • $20 online until April 2
  • $25 at the door while supplies last
     

Egg Hunt Tickets

Timed sessions from 11 a.m.–4:45 p.m.

Egg hunts are offered in age-based, timed sessions.

Session options
 

  • Ages 1–4
  • Ages 5–7
  • Sensory egg hunt for ages 1–7

Important details

  • Only children participating in the egg hunt need tickets
  • One parent may accompany children ages 1–4
  • Parents are not permitted during hunts for ages 5 and older
  • Arrive on time for your selected session
  • Space in other time slots is not guaranteed
  • Amusements tickets are sold separately

Sensory Egg Hunt

A quieter, sensory-friendly egg hunt designed for children to participate at their own pace. Timed sessions and advance registration are required.

The Burke Lake Park Information Center is located at the entrance of the park once you pass through the gate, on your right hand side. The center can help you with the following: Maps (also available outside Information Center), Park/Trail Map, Picnic Area Map, Campground Map, Lake Depth Map

From Route 123 North
The park entrance is on the right. If you see the golf course then you have gone too far.
The golf course entrance will be the next right beyond the park entrance.

From Route 123 South
The golf course entrance is the first left off Ox Road (Route 123).
The park entrance is the second left off Ox Road (Route 123).
