Green Spring Gardens Rules

Park Authority employees and authorized volunteer staff have been trained and are obligated to enforce these rules and regulations. Failure to abide by these rules may also result in violators being ejected from the park immediately and prohibited from future use of park property, facilities or services.

Respect the grounds. All plants and animals are protected by FCPA policy.
Please keep the wild in our wildlife and refrain from feeding them.
Leave all plants, seeds, fruit, vegetables, and animals where you find them. Please do not touch or pick.
Stay on the designated paths, and avoid stepping in the garden beds.
Recreational activities such as ball games and kite-flying are prohibited. Use of balloons is prohibited.
Paths are specifically designed for pedestrian use. Prohibited activities include cycling, rollerblades, motorized toys, and skateboards.
Fishing, swimming, wading, and ice skating are prohibited in the ponds and stream.
Your dog is welcome at Green Spring. Fairfax County leash laws apply, and waste must be picked up.
Alcohol and fires are prohibited on the grounds unless permitted by FCPA.
Advance reservations for weddings, parties, groups, portrait, and commercial photography are required at 703-642-5173. Permits are also required for professional photography. Green Spring Photography Guidelines
